One Nation Under Yarn

"Uncommon Threads" on the DIY and HGTV Networks

Uncommon Threads, a two year old craft show on the DIY Television Network, has a fresh, fun attitude and host Allison Whitlock brings her contemporary design sensibility to the series. Each episode sheds a modern light on the art of needlecrafts, including applique, crochet, embroidery, patchwork, quilting and rug making. Allison is joined on each show by a different needle arts group or club from around the country. Viewers will get to know the members as they share their ideas, specialties, techniques and creations. By the end of every episode, viewers of all skill levels have met some colorful folks and have learned how to make at least one awesome new project!

Crochet Nation had the opportunity to film five episodes for this series that are now in reruns on the DIY & HGTV networks: 1) Hooked on Shrugs - DUCT-140, 2) We've Got it Covered - DUCT-102, 3) Making Headway - DUCT-112, 4) It's in the Bag - DUCT-128, 5) Up, Up & Crochet - DUCT-159.
